On 6 May 2019, the Crystalfoot club was launched in Luxembourg by Norbert Becker, member of the ELA International Advisory Board and Guy Alba, President.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Crystalfoot is a collection of crystal feet made from the footprints of exceptional football players. The first of this collection, made free of charge by Baccarat, is that of Zin\u00e9dine Zidane, the emblematic sponsor of ELA.
\nCrystalfoot is also a charity club with an international dimension that aims to help ELA beat leukodystrophies. It is important for the fight against this terrible disease, which is a rare disease, to be international in order to bring together as many patients as possible and to be able to launch clinical trials. These trials to test new treatments are extremely expensive and require greater financial resources.
\nLeukodystrophies are very serious genetic diseases that affect between 20 and 40 children a week in Europe. These diseases are fatal and affect all vital functions (locomotion, sight, hearing….) and can destroy the brain of a previously healthy child in a matter of a few months.
\nCrystalfoot was born from one keyidea; to make a crystal foot from Zin\u00e9dine Zidane\u2019s left foot to raise funds for ELA.
\nThe crystal foot was created by the prestigious Maison Baccarat on the requestof Daniela Riccardi (Managing Director) and Daniel Caufour (Operations Director). The excellence of Baccarat’s know-how joined hands with the commitment of the members of the Crystalfoot Club.
\nSeveral crystal feet have been reserved by Luxembourg donors. In line with the values of ELA (solidarity, respect, humanity) and its goal, to save children and all the sick, they are committed to sponsoring new donors who will join the Club.
\nThis club brings together the most beautiful team in the world, the one fighting against leukodystrophies.<\/p>\n
